Polarian
- Based on CPTEC all-fibre amplifier
- Available as Polarian turn-key pulsed laser platform, or standalone CPTEC
- Polarian-BASE provides pump lasers and control electronic
- Supports 1030-1080 and 1940 nm
- Up to 400 W average power and 10 mJ pulse energy
- Modular design allows for scaling to higher powers with multiple CPTECs
Polarian is a pulsed fibre laser platform powered by CPTEC amplifier technology. CPTEC is an all-fibre, fully monolithic amplifier with no free-space optics. It directly energises the active fibre to maximize performance, efficiency, and reliability allowing it to deliver hundreds of watts average power and mJ-level pulse energy across ns to fs regimes.
We can provide CPTEC technology as both a standalone amplifier to work with gain mediums and seed lasers you already use, or as a full turn key Polarian laser system.
Polarian-BASE combines seed amplification, pump laser, thermal management, control electronics, and an intuitive graphical user interface into a single, compact unit. From FC/APC seed input to high-power optical output, it delivers a fully integrated optical engine. Designed for both standalone use and seamless system integration, Polarian offers uncompromising performance in a streamlined, user-friendly form.

LaserBlade
- High-brightness directed energy fibre amplifier module
- 2.5 kW single-mode output
- 1050-1080 nm, narrow linewidth
- Low SWaP, low cost, low pressure drop
- External or built-in seed
- Runs directly off battery
- Stackable & scalable to higher powers
LaserBlade is built on OEI's over 15 years of experience in supplying high-brightness fibre laser solutions for directed energy applications. With advanced optical, electrical, and mechanical design capabilities in-house, OEI continually pushes the envelope of performance and efficiency while shrinking weight and footprint.
Several all-fibre platforms are now available, including this compact LaserBlade amplifier module with up to 2.5kW of single-mode output and integrated drive/control electronics with a wide input voltage range for battery-powered applications. OEI’s proprietary, high-efficiency diode driver and optical amplifier architecture achieves over 40% wall-plug efficiency, and a new, lightweight cold-plate design reduces pressure drop in the cooling system. The standard configuration accepts an external seed signal, and an optional internal seed configuration is available. Other customised platforms are available to suit any directed energy application.

PowerEngines
- High-power CW lasers for industry
- Wide range of outputs customisable for your requirements
- 1060 - 1080 nm single mode up to 600 W
- 400 - 1100 nm direct diode up to 600 W
- 1907/1940 nm Thulium laser up to 250 W
- Air and water-cooled options
PowerEngines are high-efficiency, high performance laser solutions for applications including additive manufacturing, polymer welding and materials processing. These are easy to use low cost turn key systems with options for customisation. There are three main models, Thulium fibre lasers, direct diode lasers, and single mode fibre lasers.
OEI's direct-pumped thulium fibre lasers are the highest power and most efficient air cooled 2 um lasers on the market with up to 250 W power output and 4x less power consumption than competitors using indirect, cascade-pumped architecture.
OEI's direct diode laser systems are the highest power and most efficient air-cooled lasers on the market with up to 600 W of power in a single fibre or multiple, individually addressable fibres.
OEI’s air-cooled fibre laser is a simplified solution for the selective laser melting (SLM) market. The single mode output with a near diffraction-limited beam and low output power variation is ideal for high resolution, fine-feature printing.
